Our raw cashew nuts come from the Mtwara region of southern Tanzania the heart of the country’s cashew belt, and one of the most respected growing origins in the world. The nuts are harvested and sun-dried at source, then shipped to India, where they are processed, shelled, and graded under strict quality control before packing. Nothing here is Indian-grown; it’s Tanzanian-grown and India-processed. The W-series grades below refer to kernel size and count, and reflect sorting standards.
